Republicans and Democrats alike respect his honesty. Cheney claims he's a discreet but honest advisor to Bush within his administration. Cheney expressed excitement about taking the Republican vice-presidential nod. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30, 1941) was the son Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been wed to Richard Herbert Cheney for over thirty years. As a 13-year-old, Richard Bruce accompanied his parents from Nebraska to Casper (in the state of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's soil conservation district.
